The AI Race: Power Control and the Future

Racing for Control in the AI World

AI Race

Let Me Ask You a Question

What is really going on in the world right now?

Why does it feel like everything is accelerating?
Why does it seem like we are being pushed faster and faster into something we don’t fully understand?

And who is really in control of it all?

We hear a lot about Artificial Intelligence—but what is it leading to?

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.” (2 Timothy 3:1, KJV)

There Is a Race Happening

There is an AI race happening right now.

This is not theory. This is not speculation.

Nations are involved. Corporations are involved. Governments are involved. And they are all moving quickly—because whoever gets there first gains power.

Power over economies.
Power over systems.
Power over information.

And ultimately—power over people.

“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars…” (Matthew 24:6, KJV)

What Kind of Power Are We Talking About?

We’re not just talking about better tools.

We’re talking about systems that can:

  • Think faster than humans
  • Process more information than humans
  • Influence decisions at a level we’ve never seen before

And the question is not just what can it do?

The real question is: who is guiding it—and to what end?

“A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.” (Proverbs 16:9, KJV)

Moving Faster Than Wisdom

Everything is speeding up.

Technology is advancing faster than our ability to even think through the consequences. And when that happens, you don’t just get progress—you get problems.

Because speed without wisdom is dangerous.

We are seeing development outpace discernment.

“He that hasteth with his feet sinneth.” (Proverbs 19:2, KJV)

The Heart Behind the Machine

Here’s the issue.

Technology is not the real problem.

The heart of man is.

AI will only reflect the intentions, the desires, and the nature of those who build it and control it. And history has shown us again and again—when man gains power without accountability, things go wrong.

“Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.” (1 Corinthians 8:1, KJV)

The Jesse Holmes Illustration

There’s an illustration that helps bring this into focus.

Think about Jesse Holmes running the Iditarod.

Out on that trail, everything depends on direction, endurance, and control. You can have strength, speed, and ability—but if you’re not guided rightly, you’re in trouble.

You can be moving fast—and still be moving the wrong way.

And that’s where we are today.

The world is moving fast. Technology is advancing. Systems are improving.

But the real question is: who is holding the reins?

“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” (Proverbs 14:12, KJV)

The Illusion of Security

There is a belief that technology will fix everything.

That if we just get better systems, better data, better intelligence—we’ll have more stability, more peace, more control.

But that is an illusion.

Systems fail.
People fail.
Power shifts.

And when trust is placed in what man builds instead of in God, it leads to false security.

“Except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” (Psalm 127:1, KJV)

So What Should We Do?

This is not a call to fear.

It’s a call to awareness.

It’s a call to discernment.

We are living in a time where we must:

  • Think clearly
  • Watch carefully
  • Stay grounded in truth

Not everything that advances is good.
Not everything that is powerful is right.

“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” (1 Thessalonians 5:21, KJV)

What Does Not Change

The world is changing rapidly.

Technology is evolving.
Power structures are shifting.

But there is something that does not change.

Truth does not change.

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” (Hebrews 13:8, KJV)

Final Question

So let me ask you one more question:

In a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence…

Who are you trusting?

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5, KJV)
