The One Gift that Made of Lifetime Impact

What gift can really make a difference to your kids?

A dad with his son choosing a Christmas tree.

In America, the average household spends $800-$1,000 on Christmas presents for family. In recent surveys, the average parent revealed spending nearly $300 on Christmas gifts per child. American families are estimated to spend well over $1,500 to celebrate Christmas in 2025. The following testimony reveals one gift that stood the test of time and surpassed them all.

A young successful attorney said: "The greatest gift I ever received was a gift I got one Christmas when my dad gave me a small box. Inside was a note saying, "Son, this year I will give you 365 hours, an hour every day after dinner. It's yours. We'll talk about what you want to talk about; we'll go where you want to go, play what you want to play. It will be your hour! "My dad not only kept his promise," he said, "but every year he renewed it - and it's the greatest gift I ever had in my life. I am the result of his time."

Imagine the change in our society, churches, schools, communities, and homes if parents would invest in quality time with their children! The return would surely be staggering blessings.

Remember Deuteronomy 6:7 -

And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
